Stoke trio Saving Face come
bounding on to the scene full of vim and vigour with their new single ‘Eyes.On.Me’
which is no way suitable for the feint hearted. The searing guitars cut through
the dead air with a groove and riffage that is second to none. There are
obvious relations to Royal Blood, Moriaty and Queens of the Stone Age but also
throwbacks to 90s acts like Orphic Soop and Kerbdog. Saving Face have set the
bar genuinely high for British rock in 2021 and the rest of the world better
take note too, this is a serious statement of intent.
