Pennsylvania talent Kiana Corley
is bringing the laid-back vibes for 2021 and lord knows we need them right about
now. Corley’s new single, ‘Lukewarm’, takes Jack Johnson energy and mixes it
with the lightness of soul you would normally associate with Corinne Bailey-Rae
and the kind of guitar sound you’d expect to hear on early Bruno Mars material.
All of that, however, is secondary to Corley’s voice which is sweet, light and
effortlessly soulful in a way that many strive for throughout their entire
career without every achieving. Effortlessness is not something you can learn,
it’s a gift and Kiana Corley has that gift.
