Octavia is bringing her single ‘X-Ray’ to the table for a late 2020 treat so
pull up a chair and lend me your ears. The mood of this song is all about
arriving home at the end of the last working day of the year and just taking a
breath before opening that door to space where you can relax and be calm. Octavia’s
voice has the fragility to be a folk artist but equally it has the power to be
pop superstar and in between those two polar opposites is a space where beauty
and honesty flourishes. There’s an album coming early in 2021 and I think Gurli
Octavia will definitely be popping up on my radar again next year. A better
year to come.
