It’s been a pretty good year for
Norway, musically speaking, but you couldn’t have a Norwegian party without
inviting the boys from Death By Unga Bunga. The new single, ‘Egocentric’, is
typically up-tempo and rocks with a West Coast lilt but there is perhaps a
little more control creeping in to this new material which will make their 2021
album, ‘Heavy Male Insecurity’, an interesting listen. There’s a Darkness-esque
guitar solo and a sing-along chorus (shout along in some cases) so somebody
turn the volume up and let’s drink Aquavit until the sun goes down or comes up,
depending on what time we start drinking.
