Well this is a darkly bewitching delight
if ever I heard one. The excellent Lauren Moon is back with new single ‘Edge of
the Moon’ and it is drenched in menace, atmosphere and a glint of mischief. A
groaning melody and twanging country guitars mix with eery piano notes and Moon’s
characterful voice to create something that works as a song but would also fit
wonderfully in a cinematic context when the heroine is getting ready to go for
the all-or-nothing play with a crossbow strapped to her back and a pistol in
each hand.
