but it’s getting harder and harder to do something original so props to you Ms
Monaco. New single ‘Happiness is a Butterfly’ opens with a late-night piano
sound and Monaco’s distant, drifting vocal wafting in on the smoky late-night
breeze. By the time the dubby bass and chilled beats join in this track has
emerged from its timid chrysalis into a gently luxurious tune with phasers set
to seduce. Maybe there are hints of Lana Del Rey but maybe there are hints of Portishead
too and that’s a mash up I am definitely up for.
