Anything with Bill Murray
attached to it, even in name only, will always grab my attention so this new
single from Oxford’s Half Decent jumped out of the inbox at me. ‘Bill Murray’
is an addictive but chilled track where Half Decent raps about the monotony of
the work life balance make reference in the video and the song to the Murray
classic, Groundhog Day. Musically, the track bobs along with a relatively
relaxed vibe but that tension and frustration is there in the lyrics which, as
a package, puts me in mind of Gideon Conn or Samantics and that is no bad thing
at all.
