based in Switzerland, Ekaterina Bork (Ekat Bork for short) presents something
genuinely unique in this over saturated world of music. Bork’s new single, ‘Driving
My Mustang’ finds our heroine at the centre of uber cool alt-pop with rippling
EDM synths and beats that make you want to move while she sings with dead eyed
cool over the top. The video must be watched alongside this track as it is
possibly the strangest thing I’ve seen this side of Eurotrash and features almost every Swiss stereotype
alongside Ekat Bork trying, successfully, to look as cool as anyone in a field
of cow shit can look. Bewildering and impressive in equal measure.
