SENECA – SINGLE REVIEW

Seneca – The Ventriloquist

Release Date: Out Now

I’ve always been slightly suspicious of the term Math-Rock because the only thing I loathe more than Maths is the way Americans drop the ‘s’ but if that’s what Exeter lads Seneca want to call themselves then I am in no position to argue. The band’s new single, ‘The Ventriloquist’, mixes some excellent influences including the likes of Reuben, Velcro Hooks, Fontaines D.C. and Dutch Uncles as they pummel you with angular guitars, pounding drums and the kind of vocals that are ready for big, adoring audiences. Big things, people, expect big things.
