I’ve received a lot of lockdown
songs with accompanying lockdown videos but I think this one has just muscled its
way to the top of the pile. New Yorker Dion Lunadon (formerly of the D4 and A
Place to Bury Strangers) has roped in the help of Kate Clover to create ‘When
Will I Hold You Again’, a track that embodies the frustration, pent up energy
and general nutsiness of this pandemic. Chugging guitars, pounding drums and a
deliciously throbbing bass line make for some raw and exciting music which
Lunadon and Clover sing over like Iggy Pop and Debbie Harry in their prime duetting
at three in the morning. There’s also an excellent accompanying video featuring
some superb dancing by fans with an awful lot of energy to offer the song. It’s
