MADISON BEER – SINGLE REVIEW

Madison Beer – Stained Glass
Madison Beer - Stained Glass

Release Date: Out Now

Long Island’s finest, Madison Beer, is back with another superb single in the shape of ‘Stained Glass’. With a haunting opening that sounds like sunlight through a church window, the song soon emerges with a slow piano melody and Beer’s breathy, confessional vocal. The laid-back beat makes things swell before the chorus throws in a sense of euphoria at odds with the vocals which internalise pain and put up the shutters in a way which anyone with strong levels of self-doubt will recognise. “My skin is made of glass but apparently it’s stained because you notice all the cracks but can’t look inside my pain” is yet another wonderful lyric from Madison Beer and it’s matched with more incredible song crafting so I think we’re all ready for the album now. Please.
