Well here’s an optimistic little ditty
to lift the spirits like the green shoots of spring breaking through the cracks
in the pavement. Duo From Apes to Angels are launching uplifting single ‘Head
& Heart’ on the world but be careful, this bunch of roses has thorns. The synths
might sparkle with sprinkled glitter ball energy and the vocals might have that
blend of Dubstar and St Etienne cool but there’s a sting in the lyrics that you
want to watch out for; “All the ones that you love, they will fail you someday”.
Still, an uplifting melody is worth it’s weight in gold in these troubled times
so I’m still up for this.
