is the musical positivity vehicle of one Andy Stochansky and I think we could
all do with a shot of what he’s on. ‘Rocket Ship’ is perfectly poised pop with
just enough indie nous to stop it from sounding as though it was created by an
algorithm for mass market appeal. Chiming melodies and a bouncing beat give
this a bright and carefree vibe like Rooney collaborating with Katy Perry in a makeshift
Californian beach house studio and, honestly, that’s a party I want a plus one
to.
