Now that they’ve finished the filming the Halloween episode of Come Dine With Me, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs are about to release a new album and, ahead of that, comes this little teaser. ‘Reducer’ is the band’s new single and it is an absolute assault on the senses from the very beginning. The drums thunder like a thousand horses before the distorted throb of the guitars do battle with a snarling bassline that just won’t quit. Then come the vocals of a half-naked man dressed in just a pair of Newcastle United shorts who sounds like he’s screaming down a well with the remains of dead children in the bottom. Like I said, it’s an assault on the senses.
