Duo (or trio, depends who you
ask) Kadeema are riling against blind consumerism and black Friday craziness on
new single ‘Gotta Get It’ and it’s a lot of fun. The indie-pop vibes are
reminiscent of Rooney while the awkward dance routine is purely OKGO in spirit
which makes for a perky number. The tight guitars, punchy drums and infectious
vocal melodies all bounce of each other like coloured plastic balls at a ball
pit and, well, it’s just an awful lot of fun – more fun than trying to buy a ‘discounted’
TV at a crowded supermarket.
