Release Date: Out Now
Oh man is it good to have Brother & Bones back in my ears. The collective, who encapsulate everything about a modern Cornwall that it’s possible to represent in three and a half minutes, have been away for some time but have come roaring back with an outstanding new single. ‘Dog Eat Dog’ still has the wild, windswept vibes that these guys are known for (you can almost taste the sea spray and smell the fresh air) but there’s a new, harder edge on this one. A grinding guitar riff underpins the ever-impressive vocals of Richard Thomas and with the trademark drummer vs percussionist battle turning sparring in to a full-blown fight, this one will pull you under like a vicious rip tide or a particularly strong pint of really cloudy scrumpy. Brother & Bones are back, and woe betide anyone who stands in their way.
