Teenage singer-songwriter Tori
(aka Victoria Stanway to her mum) has an unnervingly mature approach to music
judging by latest single ‘XV’ (Fifteen if you don’t know your Roman numerals).
The gentle lilt and lament of the melody has a country tinge to it but mixed
with Tori’s soulful vocal this track has a real slow dance vibe and you can
almost see the light reflecting off the slowly revolving disco ball. If you’re
a fan of the Carpenters then I reckon this could be right up your street but if
you don’t like being reminded of just how old you are then maybe focus on the
music.
