ELIZSABETH – SINGLE REVIEW

Elizsabeth – I Choose Myself
Elizsabeth - I Choose Myself

Release Date: Out Now

There’s a waver and a crackle in the voice of London based artist Elizsabeth as she sings “Have you ever been so far, so far from sleep” and its both endearing and disarming so early in a track. But don’t be fooled, Elizsabeth’s ‘I Choose Myself’ starts with a gentle piano melody and that delicate vocal but its not long before things start to swell. This is the sound of someone hitting rock bottom and being left with two options; give up or fight back, and this lady is not for giving up. Not today. By the time this track hits full stride we’re into a full Katy Perry meets Pink anthem of self-love and self-worth with hint of an 80s vibe about it. The powerful and soulful vocals of Elizsabeth soar by the end of the track, showing the full transformation from quivering caterpillar to resplendent butterfly and if this doesn’t get you ready for the day then nothing will.
