Anchors are back with a new single and all two and a half minutes of it mean
business. ‘Heart Attack’ is a furious and relentless ride with Crazy Arm-esque,
bass driven melodies and raw, Jamie Lenman meets Joe Strummer vocals. However,
for all the English sensibilities, there’s also a real American garage-rock
vibe to this track which is dripping in sweat, covered in the blood of broken
skin on guitar strings and comes screaming from the shadows with wild eyes and
an impressive moustache. Black Anchors are the real deal and anyone who says
otherwise will have to answer to, well, Black Anchors. You’ve been warned.
