This is a genuinely delightful
track from relatively elusive trio Ludic. ‘2 Myself’ has a chilled, dreamy vibe
that takes in Jazz, Pop, Soul, Funk and a smidge of Disco in a way that only Patawawa
are currently achieving with any sense of regularity. The floaty light vocals
of Ayla Tesler-Mabe waft over the kind of key changes I haven’t heard since the
early 90s with the kind of guitars that Nile Rodgers would smile a big ol’
smile to. Ludic have got some serious vibes, the talent to match and a cracking
single on their hands so watch out if you’re thinking of standing in their way.
