London trio Crushed Beaks are the
latest signing to the talented talent spotters Clue Records and new single
‘Honesty Box’ is an instantly loveable introduction to the band. On the one
hand, you have the unbridled indie-pop joy of early Blur, Young Knives and Collapsed
Lung but then you have the baggy and thrashy guitars of My Bloody Valentine or
Snuff. This sounds like the kind of track that will have packed, sweaty crowds
losing their collective shit in venues and tents up and down the country while
Sleaford Mods look on nervously from backstage as they await their headline
slot.
