LIFE – SINGLE REVIEW

Life – Moral Fibre ([PIAS]/Afghan Moon)
Life - Moral Fibre

Release Date: Out Now

I always feel like if Dylan Moran had formed a band they would have sounded a lot like Hull upstarts Life (that’s a huge compliment by the way). The band’s new single ‘Moral Fibre’ starts with the words “piss ants” and then gets in to a ranty list set to a dead-eyed indie-pop melody with machine gun drums and the kind of “whoo” melodies that the Fall used to deliver so brutally. Less than two minutes long, full of thought provoking one-liners, a real slap around the face and a whole lotta fun. Like I said, stick a glass of red in one hand and a fag in the other and it’s Dylan Moran.
