So, my favourite New York power couple Lion Babe are upping the ante ahead of their album release and have teamed up with Wu-Tang stalwart Raekwon for new single ‘Western World’. But that’s not all, oh no. Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman have pulled the vocal melody from the Pet Shop Boys classic ‘West End Girls’, set it to a chilled beat and thrown in a loose funk bass line to spin it all on its head. Raekwon does his thing on the breakdown with effortless cool and Goodman’s melody weaving makes for a truly captivating tune.
