CROWS – SINGLE REVIEW

Crows – Wednesday’s Child (Balley Records)
Crows - Wednesday's Child

Release Date: Out Now

London outfit Crows are back with another shot of their brutalist art-punk in the form of new single ‘Wednesday’s Child’ ahead of their much anticipated debut album. This new track is bleak, black and bloody good with the wall of guitars the sound of the engine while their jet-black juggernaut is dragged across a post-apocalyptic English wasteland by one hundred armour plated horses. Black horses, of course. I can only imagine the feeling of sheer exuberance and willing surrender you would experience upon hearing this live, leaning in to the feedback as you used to on a windy day when you were a child. There are comparisons I could make but I honestly don’t think it would add much to the experience – Crows are huge in sound and their popularity will surely only grow from here on out.
