Oslo noiseniks Wet Dreams are
back and they’ve been tuning up their hogs. New single ‘Boogie’ is a brilliant
slice of fuzzy, scuzzy garage-punk that plays out at least one hundred miles
per hour about an inch from your face so you can feel the spit from the vocals
and smell last nights bourbon on their breath. Taking all the best and worst
parts from the Hives, the Stooges, Fungus, Metal Molly and soaking it in the
chaotic sweat of the Sex Pistols and the Libertines, this track is a force of
nature and a lot of fun but, much like a sleepwalker, it’s best not to disturb
it mid-flow or the consequences could be disastrous.
