Ogikubo Station - Take a Piece of all that's Good
Good (Asian Man Records)

Release Date: Out now

This is exactly the kind of record I would have obsessed about back in my teens, desperately trying to find a 7” copy to play to death in my bedroom. Aside from not having a record player in my bedroom any more, nothing has change on that front. Ogikubo Station release ‘Take a Piece of all that’s Good’ ahead of their new album and a June UK tour and it is an uplifting slacker indie-pop gem. Think of Belly, Weezer and the Lemonheads collaborating on a tune to inspire a new generation to ‘pass it on’ via jangling guitars and a driving beat – sounds great, right? Well, it is. “Take a piece of all that’s good and share it with the world” is their simple message and it’s hard to argue with that.
