Dutch DJ and remixer Netsky has
been on the up for a while now and this is the kind of track that might see him
cross over in the mainstream. Bringing in big hitters like Bazzi and Lil Wayne
on vocal duties for ‘I Don’t Even Know You Any More’ seems like a savvy move to
open his music up to a wider market but that has irked some of Netsky’s
die-hard fans – success is always divisive. For those new to Netsky, however,
the Calvin Harris vibes will appeal to those who like their dance-pop
commercial but still retaining that air of cool. I don’t think there’s any
turning back from this for Netsky but I don’t get the feeling there will be any
regrets – onwards and upwards.
