Australian. Understated instrumentation and clicking rhythms underpin the verse,
mirroring the early morning restlessness you get when you can’t someone off
your mind for good or bad reasons. The chorus erupts in a barrage of chiming
guitar notes and the vocals nod to the 80s power ballad in their distance and
ethereal nature. Mason has one of those voices that you just want to lose
yourself in and that works so wonderfully when you’re dealing with issues of
sleep deprivation and emotional angst.
