The evolution of Frank Turner
from Million Dead member to globe straddling behemoth is one of the most
unlikely tales of modern music history but it’s a true story nonetheless and
one that continues to unfold. Turner’s new single ‘Don’t Worry’ ploughs one of
his well-worn furrows in reassuring the disaffected and unsure among us that we’re
all a little lost and uncertain of our paths in life. The simple guitar riff
and hand clapped rhythm builds in to an anthem of support, open hearts and open
minds that is hard not to get swept up in. Frank Turner has many a detractor in
this world but if we lose musicians and artists with voices like this then the
music world will be all the poorer for it.
