There’s an insistent and itchy
energy to this new track from Twerps co-founder Martin Frawley that is really
hard to resist but equally to difficult to settle on. Nevertheless, ‘Chain
Reaction’ is an absolutely charming and quirky tune that is sealed by the
sing-along chorus on top of the bust-up drums and luscious guitar strumming.
This will fit nicely alongside the likes of Jim Noir, David Kitt, Evan Dando,
Ezra Koenig and Badly Drawn Boy in terms of easily accessible and delightfully
uplifting melodies paired with deadpan lyrics and a dry sense of wit.
