Finnish quartet Wheel are not a
bunch you’d want to meet in a dark alley under a full moon but take yourself to
a dive bar with a beer and these guys will show you a good time. New single ‘Vultures’
is a snarling, snaking best of a tune with huge guitars, battering ram drums
and a real sense of drive. There are elements of Boy Hits Car, Powerman 5000 and
Kerbdog to this but overall it’s just an immense juggernaut of a rock tune that
is impossible to resist.
