One of my favourite discoveries of
2018 is dropping one more tasty morsel for us to finish the year off. New
single ‘Papier-Mâché is the
aforementioned morsel and it’s a brooding, chugging slab of indie-rock with menace
coursing through its veins and a glint in its eye. Jablonka is a supreme
guitarist, that’s his unique selling point, but he’s also got a distinctly unique
voice which works so well with his furious fretwork. There’s a Jazz vibe lying
underneath this that keeps you guessing and an energy that holds your attention
all the way through – not to mention an insanely incendiary guitar solo to cap
things off.
