London combo Harker Moon are an
arresting outfit compared the majority of what I get sent these days. The band’s
new single ‘Muma Says’ slides in to view like smoothly dressed crooner and the
guitars dress the song in the very finest silks. The rhythm section keeps
things moving with the minimum effort and I’m reminded of a lull in a live set
by Tankus the Henge for the pure showmanship, performance and class of the
whole affair. This is indie-rock with soul, style with substance and a debut that
shows off a band with a particularly bright future.
