Hot South London artist Bryn has
teamed up with Chicago MC Dreezy for some cross-Atlantic fun and the result is
the ear-worm of a single that is ‘Drunk & Wavey’. The mellow melodies are
pure R’n’B but the bass and beats are more Hip-Hop in origin and Bryn’s vocals
are strong even without the autotune. Dreezy adds some rapid fire and razor-sharp
rapping to the track and all the while an underlying rumble gives this a
slightly sinister edge which makes it all the more appealing. Here’s to more collaborations
across the ocean.
