If you’re on the look out for
someone with a great voice, fresh style and interesting ideas then I recommend
giving the music of Chloe Howl a listen. New single ‘Work’ is a great showcase
for Howl’s voice which switches between R’nB and Soul by pressing the alt-pop
button with aplomb and staring you down with a raised eyebrow. Musically, there’s
an almost ambient vibe going on here but ambient with an itch that it can’t
scratch and its fun listening to that energy struggle. This should work well on
both sides of the Atlantic (as well as near to other oceans) as long as it gets
in to the right ears.
