Oh I do love New Yorkers Charly
Bliss. They just sound like they’re having so much fun on everything they do
and I don’t think they care whether you like it or not. New single ‘Heaven’ is
a sweet, lilting indie-garage track with a pleasing, 90s Belly-esque chug and
Eva Hendrick’s gorgeous vocal doing that mischievous imp thing that she does so
well. Much like city neighbours the Nectars, Charly Bliss blend power with
melodies brilliantly and when Hendricks sings “I’m going to buy a house and
fill it with daughters and daughters and daughters and daughters…” you can’t
help but believe her desire to follow through on that impulse.
