London outfit Karma Roulette
(excellent name, bonus points for that) are here with new single ‘Riot Act’ and
it’s time to give it a listen. From the get-go this is a dark, brooding
post-punk indie romp with snarling teeth and a downward view of the world.
Talking the louche elements of Britpop and mixing it with the burgeoning UK
indie style gives this a scratchy, raw sound that places it somewhere between
Sisteray, the Libertines and Shed Seven but with the dead-eyed stare of people
who’ve got to the end of Instagram and fallen off the cliff edge.
