Ah Monster Truck – a great band with a great name. For the uninitiated, Monster Truck are an Estonian traditional folk band who do covers of Scandinavian pop songs from the 90s. I am, of course, talking shit. Monster Truck are the finest purveyors of balls to the wall rock with catchy hooks and drums that make you fear for your ribs. New release ‘Evolution’ is an opening salvo from their forthcoming new album and it’s pretty damn beefy. The wall of riffs would surely be enough to keep those pesky Americans from entering the Trucks’ native Canada while the drums could derail a train at 100 paces and that chorus is to die for…or die because of, it’s pretty powerful. Welcome back Monster Truck, I missed you.
