Cut Chemist is back with a new album and this is the first track to be released
from it. The Los Angeles splicer has drafted in the guest vocal talents of Laura
Darlington for ‘Home Away from Home’ and the two create something truly magical.
Cut Chemist has created a driving, almost organic piece of music that sits right
between Fatboy Slim at his best and Death in Vegas. Darlington, for her part,
has laid a breathy, almost trance like vocal over the top that keeps this piece
from losing control although it often threatens to freak out. A thoroughly
enjoyable and instantly infectious track which bodes extremely well for the new
album.
