Brighton boys Sweetmates are back which is worth a fist pump and a whoop. The reason for such unreserved rejoicing? Well, you see, Sweetmates make superbly infectious indie-pop and that just suits this time of year perfectly, don’t you think? Festival line-ups are being announced and people are getting excited about live music again which means that a hyped-up track like ‘Wine Days’ is just exactly what we all need. A heady mix of the Killers, Moses, Rylands Heath, the Kooks and early Blur, this track bounces around like your energetic friend getting ready for a night out by drinking cheeky Vimto by the pint and maybe a few poppers.
