Irish upstarts Bokito got my
juices flowing back in 2017 but now we’re facing a full-on tsunami of juices right
here in 2018 with new single ‘Love Gotten’. The intricate guitar and interplay
with Jazz-influenced beat and big-pop melodies all intertwine to make an
intoxicating brew which is based swallowed all in one…. like a shot. The vocals
are in the Everything Everything realm of things and the afro-indie vibes are
strong so if you’re after something that sounds refreshing, summery and utterly
original then Bokito might be the band for you. There’s a real intensity to the
crescendo of this which only suggests that these guys are probably awesome live…I’d
put money on it if I had any.
