Ah, this is the song I’ve been
waiting for all winter. Scandinavian collective Black Light White Light come
armed with new single ‘Horizons’ and, well, it’s a trip in every sense. The
open ended acoustic melody and scattered beats yearn for space and distance in
a way that Lemon Jelly always captured so well. It’s probably the least
commercial single I’ve heard for a long while and could easily be the side
project of the Mighty Boosh boys (especially when you consider the bonkers
barmy video) but the most wondrous thing is that this track has such distant
horizons and the time to explore them. Simply gorgeous stuff.
