There is something irresistible about
this new track from Ty and I’m not sure just what it is. ‘Eyes Open’ is gorgeous
from the rolling piano to the smooth and calm delivery of a message that has
anger at it’s heart but It’s not going to be drawn in to a fist fight. Once you
add in the smooth, soulful vocal melodies and rhythms that stop and jerk like
the injustice of modern life then you’ve got something really worthwhile. The
beauty of this track is that you can just put it on and groove to it without any
stress or you can tune in to the lyrics and get hold of a message that speaks
right to the heart of where the world is right now.
