Man, I love these guys. I mean,
if you’re going to be in a band that sounds like a kid on a trampoline
mainlining Haribo and then write a song like ‘DQ’ which literally features the
line “I’m four years above 16, I bounced so hard I peed the trampoline “, then
be prepared for me to get a little obsessive over you. If this is bubblegum
indie-pop then it’s got a super-sour centre and it will leave your tongue
bright blue afterwards and who doesn’t want that? Infectious guitars, splashes
of cymbal, bratty vocals and the kind of attitude that will get Charly Bliss in
to a lot of trouble but they’ll have twice as much fun so who cares, right? Oh,
and they’re about to hit the UK for the first time so go get loaded on sugar
and make sure you’re down the front for some serious pogoing.
