STACEY – SINGLE REVIEW

Stacey – First Move
Stacey - First Move

Release Date: Out Now

So, it has come to my attention that Toronto dream-popper Stacey may be forging a career in Canada following years of therapy to heal the scars caused by Fountains of Wayne hitting on her ‘Mom’. This could, of course, be wrong but it would all make sense. You see, ‘First Move’ is full of sleepy, almost drugged up piano with a woozy vocal over the top that speaks of regret, unrequited lust and lyrics like “now I’ve got you where I want you, and God I want you, to make the first move”. This is classy, beautiful and perfect in every way so I’d suggest those years of therapy have paid off.
