JD Kelleher is an actor by trade
but also does a fine line in indie-punk-rock with an Irish twinge. New single ‘Imagery’
is a great example of Kelleher’s talents and even comes with a wonderfully
Batman/Joker inspired video which gives Kelleher the chance to do a bit acting
too! This particular tune would sit nicely alongside the likes of James,
Catherine Wheel and Shihad with its chugging, surging rhythm and soaring, lung busting
vocals. Throw in a slick bassline and some jangling guitars and you have a
thoroughly enjoyable tune with the potential to be a cracking driving anthem
for top down summer time fun (that’s the top of the car not your top, unless
you’re feeling frisky …. or hot). JD Kelleher is a performer and this tune
gives him the material to perform with which is a match made in indie-punk
heaven.
