Wonder has a new single for our consideration and it could be set to be an
empowering, self-worth boosting anthem for the disaffected pockets of society.
'Find Yourself' treads that fine-line between 80s Motown influenced pop and
head-back power balladry (yeah, that line) and not only does it hold its
balance, it also holds its head up high throughout. Wonder's voice is a
masterwork in defiant pop androgyny and, as the song builds to an
arms-in-the-air crescendo, you can easily imagine a Kelly Clarkson, Will Young
or X-Factor runner up belting this out to an adoring audience (note, I say
runner up as they are usually the better artists). Willo Wonder is one of those
artists that is new on the scene and currently sits at a cross roads of
performer, writer, producer or, let's face it, all of the above. And probably fashion muse at some point as
well.
