Hey, Sleeper hails from Berkshire
and the warmth of the music created by this mysterious artist is evident from
the very beginning of this single. 'This Doubt' is a forlorn tale of love and
loss but the rich, velvety tones of the acoustic riff blend perfectly with the
gentle, intimate vocal stylings of Luke Roberts - the brains of the operation.
This is music for comforting a friend to or music for sitting on a porch and
slowly drinking whisky to as you think back over what happened during a
particularly hard day. The purity and honesty of this tune is refreshing,
almost cleansing and I reckon they should pop it on the NHS as a
prescriptionable drug.
