I'm getting a little bit worried
about Catfish & The Bottlemen. They seem to have been touted in every
corner as the 'next big thing' for a few months now and have been touring the
land near and far every night that they can. We're now on the verge on them
releasing yet another single and then the album drops but if they don't get
that big hit soon they could become also-rans. 'Cocoon' could very possibly be
that single with its big, chiming riffs, rib shaking drums and swaggering sense
of cool. These guys are fast becoming rock stars but they need to be accepted
as such otherwise they could end up drinking in Wetherspoon's on a Tuesday morning
waiting for Cash Converters to open so they can go and talk about guitars with
the kid behind the counter. Let's not waste another set of rock stars people, lord
knows we've wasted enough in the past.
