make up Reno duo Synthesize Her who have been kind enough to send me this free
download to share with you lucky people. 'Fuchsia' is a woozy, shoegaze infused
song with processed beats and guitars that amble aimlessly like a party girl
making her way home in the harsh sunlight of a Sunday afternoon in July. It's
almost as if someone has fused Bis and Dubstar with Slowdive and 101 jangly 90s
indie bands played at the wrong speed on cheap vinyl. Reading that back you
could be fooled in to thinking that I don't like this but it actually has an irresistible
charm much like those old American bowling
shirts that we all used to buy in the 90s. You know, the ones with Buddy or
Jerry written on them.
